What can we expect in Barcelona!

While a relatively safe city, there are a few precautions in Barcelona that must be taken. Pickpocketing and bag snatching is unfortunately common in Barcelona and sometimes they walk with groups. Keep your valuable close to you. Try not to flash anything. Act like a local

When to travel?

Usually, you can expect a Mediterranean climate with dry summers and with moderate temperature in the winter.
The best time to travel is between April to October. The peak summer month is July and August.
In case you are travelling on a budget from November to March are a less popular time for the tourist.

From the Airport?

From the airport El Prat, there are few ways to get to Barcelona. Minimum taxi fare is €30 depending on your destination
You can also take the train from the train station at Terminal 2, which takes between 20 and 25 minutes. A one-way ticket costs €4.20.

Walking the streets of Barcelona

La Rambla

This is the most famous street in Barcelona. the Rambla itself is divided into two sections.’ Rambla de Canaletes’ and Rambla dels Estuids. La Ramblas is always lively. Lots of tourists and locals. You will find numerous restaurants and cafes and I would suggest walking around is much fun.

Beaches in Barcelona

Barcelona has nine beaches stretch over five kilometres. They pass through several districts in Barcelona. My favourite is Barceloneta Beach. You will find plenty of restaurants and water sports opportunities.

Beautiful small towns in Barcelona!

El Serrallo, Tarragona

El Serrallo, Tarragona a beautiful small town to find the old Roman monuments. It is known for its excellent seafood and the authentic seafood paella and this where the boats sail off from. Stroll down the marina to see the largest yacht in the world. It’s 1 hour 16 minutes by train single ticket is €5.25

Girona

Girona if you are a big fan of the Games of Thrones you shouldn’t miss taking a day trip. By train from Barcelona is only 1 hour 17 minutes and a single ticket cost is €8.40
